Software Download Only is a “shipping method” for purchases of software licenses only. With Software Download Only, no physical items, like CD’s, are sent. An email is sent to the email address given in the order. That email contains the Product Serial Number for the software license that was purchased, along with instructions on how to download the software.
There is no shipping charge for shipping via Software Download Only.
Software Download only cannot be used if physical items are purchased. If physical items, like a USB Dongle, footpedal, headset, VIS Mic Station, etc., are purchased, or if a CD is desired, then you cannot use Software Download Only as the shipping method.
If you order one software license and use Software Download Only as the shipping method, an email will be automatically sent by our system to the email address that you enter during your order. You should receive it within an hour of your purchase. This system is automatic, and works even after business hours, on weekends, and on holidays.
If you purchase more than one software license and use Software Download Only as the shipping method, the first Product Serial Number will be sent to you automatically. The remaining Product Serial Numbers will need to be issued manually by a Bytescribe employee. If the order is placed during business hours, you should receive the subsequent Product Serial Numbers within an hour by email. If the order is placed after hours, on weekends, or on a holiday, the subsequent Product Serial Numbers will be sent within an hour of our office re-opening the next business day.
